Health Economist (project-based)

The role

We’re searching for a Health Economist to support CLCC in a specific project quantifying the impact of bacterial vaginosis (BV) and its associated health conditions, and who wants to benefit from an immersive experience in a lean, high-potential and purpose-driven medical devices startup.

 

What you’ll do

• Research and quantify the financial impact of BV and its associated health conditions (e.g. infertility, miscarriage, preterm birth, UTI and pelvic inflammatory disease) on the UK and EU healthcare systems – through a review of existing academic literature
• Take ownership of drafting the relevant section of our current grant funding application, with a first major submission due in September 2023
• Work closely with the senior most members of the management and technical teams
• Estimated up to 25 hours for initial phase of project

 

Who you are

• Holding a PhD or Masters degree with expertise in conducting health economics analysis
