FREEDOM trial reaches 100% patient consent

FREEDOM trial reaches 100% patient consent.

Calla Lily Clinical Care is pleased to share an important milestone in our NIHR funded FREEDOM clinical trial.

In less than three months since recruitment began, FREEDOM has passed its safety stopping rule, and all target patient participants are now consented.

More than half of total participants have also commenced dosing in the trial.

FREEDOM is our first-in-woman clinical trial evaluating 400mg progesterone delivery using Callavid® in recurrent miscarriage patients diagnosed with luteal phase insufficiency, with initial treatment applications in threatened miscarriage and IVF luteal phase support.

This milestone reflects years of work across clinical operations, regulatory, quality, product development, manufacturing and trial delivery– and the commitment of many people working to advance patient-centred innovation in women’s health

We are grateful to our team, the trial team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust, and our Chief Investigator, Professor Siobhan Quenby MBE, whose leadership has been instrumental in bringing FREEDOM to this important stage.
