Callavid® is an intravaginal drug delivery platform, at clinical stage with progesterone delivery for threatened miscarriage and IVF support. A further development programme covers locally delivered antibiotics for UTI and AMR. Future applications include gynaecological cancers, menopause-related indications, HIV prophylaxis and treatment, and live biotherapeutics for the vaginal microbiome. 🔬
