NIHR visit to CLCC labs

We were delighted to host Alex Zabala Findlay, our NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research) Programme Manager, for a highly productive visit to our labs. 🔬

As his first visit to our facilities, it was a great opportunity to showcase our bespoke equipment and laboratory capabilities, walk through the R&D challenges we’ve successfully overcome, and share how patient and public involvement & engagement (PPIE) has been carefully embedded to inform key technical and clinical decisions. Most excitingly, we were able to provide an update on the strong progress towards our imminent clinical trials. 🏥

At Calla Lily Clinical Care, we are incredibly proud (and very grateful) to be recipients of NIHR funding through their *Invention for Innovation (i4i)* programme, a translational research scheme supporting medical devices, in vitro diagnostics and digital health technologies that address existing or emerging health and social care needs. The programme’s support has been instrumental in enabling us to advance patient centred innovation in women’s health, and it was a pleasure to share this progress with the NIHR. 🙏
