World Clinical Trials Day

It was recently World Clinical Trials Day, and our co-founder Lara took part in a special event hosted by SökerData and Covington & Burling LLP:

🔬 “Innovation in Action: Successful Women’s Clinical Trial Case Studies” 🧪

Lara shared the context, design and exciting early progress of our ongoing FREEDOM clinical trial evaluating Callavid® for threatened miscarriage and IVF luteal phase support.

In women’s health we have become very good at naming the problem: the gender data gap, underrepresentation in clinical trials, diagnostic delays, and decades of research and innovation too often designed around a default male patient.

But World Clinical Trials Day was also a moment to highlight action 💥

In an engaging panel as well as a fireside conversation with Kadifa Chambers, Clinical Operations Lead at Roche, Lara discussed how our work sits at the intersection of clinical research, patient-centred innovation, and the importance of funding for women’s health– from the NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research)

We’re grateful to SokerData and Covington for creating space to showcase women’s health clinical trial case studies, and for recognising the importance of moving from discussion to delivery!
