Callavid in the Daily Mail
With our FREEDOM clinical trial making exciting progress– now 60% recruited — we are delighted to start receiving national media coverage for this important step towards a more patient-centric option for women suffering from threatened miscarriage.
A big thank you to the Daily Mail for featuring Callavid® and our University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust trial, supported by the NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research), in a full-page article in today’s Good Health section.
It was also encouraging to see the article highlight part of the much broader potential of our intravaginal drug-delivery technology:
“It could be used to deliver progesterone as part of HRT and to ferry drugs for vaginal and cervical cancers where they are needed — which could reduce side effects.”
Our initial focus remains miscarriage support and IVF, but the broader vision has always been to build a platform that can transform how therapies are delivered in women’s health.
